This week's Friday Feature focuses on one of our Marketing team members, Chris Van Egmond.
Chris has been with Print.Save.Repeat for a little over 2 years now and found out about PSR through our Marketing manager, Klint ( whom we featured a couple weeks ago). Chris and Klint played high school basketball together and when Klint joined PSR, Chris was soon to follow.
We asked Chris what his favorite thing was about working here, and he responded that it's the work environment where everyone is encouraged to do their best work on their projects. He added that everyone contributes as a team, and each contribution is valued.
When asked what 3 words best describe our work environment, Chris chose these: independent and casual, but while providing a higher performance. We feel that this description sums up our atmosphere very well!
Chris says that one of his greatest work accomplishments this year was the transition of manufacturing to a network ticketing system in Quick Base. This transition was not only a personal accomplishment but a huge improvement to the company's manufacturing system and will help immensely as we continue to grow and expand.
Quite the tricky question, we asked Chris if he felt that PSR was helping to further his life goals. He said absolutely! By working at PSR, he's able to work hard at his tasks but also prioritize his family.
In our follow-up question, we inquired if Chris thought he could see himself working here for the next 5 - 10 years, which he responded to with an emphatic "Definitely!"
Lastly, we asked what Chris would say to someone who was interested in applying to work here. He said, "Do unto others as you would have done unto you. Contribute yourself to the team, enjoy working with the team; be present and engage."
