Employee Friday Feature: Ricky

Meet Ricky, our next Friday Feature! Ricky’s been with us for 3 years now, having started in 2014.
Ricky learned about PSR through a friend who had been hired during the summer. His friend told him that he liked the job and that the company was hiring, and suggested that Ricky apply. So he did, and he now works on our manufacturing team as a toner cartridge refurbisher and line worker!
We wanted to know, what’s Ricky’s favorite thing about working at PSR? He responded: “The work environment is pretty chill; everyone works well together. Work is very steady, and everyone knows what is expected of them.” He also adds, “I do enjoy working with my co-workers. We talk while working or listen to music and we all get along well. Everyone has a pretty friendly personality which makes working with all of them easier.” One of the things we strive for at Print.Save.Repeat is providing a casual, relaxed, welcoming environment for our employees; based off Ricky’s response, we would say we’ve accomplished that!
Next we asked what three words Ricky would use to describe the company. This is always a fun question for us, because the answers are always so different per person! Ricky’s choice of words was: “Quality over quantity.” As this is one of our company mottos, we wholeheartedly agree with his sentiment!
At Print.Save.Repeat we are always looking to help further our employees’ goals. Because of this, we’re often curious if they plan to use us as a stepping-stone into a career, or if they plan to make the company their career. We asked Ricky if he could see himself working here for the next 5 - 10 years, and he said, “I could… There is definitely potential to move up in the company and be able to support oneself, or family, through working at PSR. I would consider it a potential career, rather than just a job to tide over till a career comes along.”
Lastly, we asked Ricky what he would say to someone who might be interested in applying for a position at Print.Save.Repeat. His recommendation would be, “I would say apply only if you are willing to work for quality, have initiative and are willing to learn. Without those three things I wouldn't suggest the job. All 3 qualities are needed to enjoy the work environment to the fullest.”
Thanks for answering our questions Ricky, and working hard! And thanks to our readers who are checking out our latest Friday Feature; stay tuned for the next one!
