LEXMARK E460DN: HOW TO RESET THE PC KIT
Whenever you replace the photoconductor (PC) kit in a Lexmark E460 laser printer, you must reset the counter. Otherwise, your printer will continue to show a "replace PC kit" error and you won't be able to print. Here's how you reset your Lexmark E460DN PC kit:
How to Reset PC Kit
- After installing the new photoconductor unit, make sure the printer is powered on and then open the front cover.
- With the front cover open, press and hold the stop/cancel (X) button.
- Once all the printer lights begin flashing or your LCD screen says “Resetting PC Counter,” let go of the button.
- Close the front cover.
